Adam Reynolds is honored to be a part of the 2018 class of inductees for the North Penn Athletic Hall of Fame. As someone who did not grow up in the North Penn area, he was honored to become part of the athletic family of North Penn. He came to North Penn in the summer of 2002 right before his sophomore year and quickly become a welcomed member of the team placing 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke at states, helping the team earn the State Championship that year. During his junior year, he improved his finish in the 100 breaststroke to 2nd place and added to that with a 5th place in the 200 Individual Medley and was a member of the 2nd place 200 Medley Relay and the 3rd place 400 Freestyle Relay on the team’s way to earning a repeat State championship. Finally, during his senior year, he was a member of the 7th place 200 Medley Relay, 5th place 400 Freestyle Relay and earned individual accolades with his 8th place Individual Medley and finished his high school career with a 1st place finish in the 100 Breaststroke securing a Runner-up finish in the state championship that year.  In addition to his career in swimming, he helped the water polo team to successful seasons in 2004 and 2005. For his efforts, Adam earned 5 NISCA All-Americans, 9 PIAA All States all in swimming and was a two-time Booster Club MVP swimmer for 2004 and 2005.

After high school, Adam attended college at The Ohio State University where he swam for the buckeyes earning a varsity letter his freshmen year. In 2012, he graduated with a BS in physics. Following his graduation from OSU, he attended Ashland University to earn his teaching certificate in 7-12 chemistry, physics, and physical science.

Currently, Adam lives in Cincinnati, Ohio where he works as a high school science teacher for the Lockland Local School district. He would like to thank Brian Faikish and Brian Daly for all the time and effort they put into coaching at North Penn and to his parents who never stopped pushing him to be better than what he thought possible.
