North Penn High School, 2005 |
As an athlete at North Penn, Sean earned nine varsity letters in cross county, winter track, and spring track. Sean began his career at North Penn in the fall of tenth grade. This was the start of nine straight seasons of earning varsity letters.
Some of Sean’s most memorable moments while running for North Penn are some of the many 4x800 meter relays he was on; including the 2005 indoor state championship team along with teammates Mike Pfleuger, Phil Wright and Cody Edling. This team also went on to set the state indoor record. Also, another milestone was Sean’s 2005 individual indoor state mile championship. Besides just memorable races some of Sean’s favorite moments from running at North Penn were spending time with his coaches and good friends on the team, and many of the road trips to nationals.
Sean would like to give a special thanks to some of his biggest influences while on the team: Coach Richard Swanker, Coach Ron Jaros and Coach Jay Jones. Without them, Sean wouldn’t have been able to keep a proud North Penn running tradition alive.
Post College, Sean moved to Center City, Philadelphia where he was employed in the IT field for four years, and for the past five years has worked in the real estate development field. Sean spends most of his spare time traveling and trying new restaurants with his girlfriend Lia.
