He was elected to pre-season Fab 85 team and was voted the most valuble lineman on the team. He earned post season awards in 1st team all league, 1st team all Intellagencer, 1st team Norristown Times Herald, and also 1st team all South-Eastern Pennsylvania. Career Summary:
Pettine worked with football video operations and with the Ravens’ coaching staff in 2002. Using computer technology, Pettine assisted in creating playbooks for offense and defense and analyzing game video of opponents, as well as operating a camera for Ravens practices. Now, the quality control coach for the Ravens.

Coaching Background:
Mike previously held the position of head football coach at North Penn H.S. in Lansdale, PA (1997-2001), and held the same position at William Tennent H.S. in Warminster, PA, from 1995-96. He was an assistant coach at both the University of Pittsburgh (1993-94) and Central Bucks West H.S. in Doylestown, PA (1988-92).

He was selected a Parade first-team All-American and a USA Today second-team All-American, Associated Press first-team all-state and “Pennsylvania Lineman-of-the-Year.” He was among the players featured in ESPN’s documentary, “The Season,” which chronicled North Penn’s 1999 season. McKelvy was one of nine future Nittany Lions to play in the 2000 Big 33 Classic and participated in the Montgomery County all-star game following his senior season. He also was an all-state performer in the shot put and discus.

Costlow was a three-sport athlete at North Penn HS, where he was a Parade, SuperPrep and Tom Lemming Prep Football Report All-American for Coach Mike Pettine, Jr. A team co-captain and team MVP, Costlow also earned Associated Press first-team all-state and all-conference honors. He also was a Big 33 Classic selection and earned a local National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete award. As a senior, he made 87 tackles with nine sacks, and for his career he recorded 217 stops with 19 sacks. He was a track team co-captain and finished third in the state meet in the shot put, helping his team go undefeated all four years of his high school career. Costlow was selected North Penn’s Male Athlete-of-the-Year as a senior. He played with fellow Lion offensive lineman Chris McKelvy at North Penn.

Jason Wallace played in the Big 33 Football Classic
Jason was a standout 2-way lineman for the Knights under Coach Joe Shannon. He received a full athletic scholarship to attend Penn State University and play for legendary coach Joe Paterno.

Known for his toughness and strong work ethic, Jason enjoyed a fine career for the Nittany Lions, starting at Defensive Tackle in both the 1998 and 1999 seasons, including a strong performance in the 1999 Outback Bowl versus Kentucky. In the spring prior to his Junior season, Wallace received the Jim O'Hora Award as the Most Improved Defensive Player. Jason graduated from Penn State in 2000 with a degree in Marketing.

During Joel's Senior Year he did the sideline video for the Knights football teams. Joel then went on to Millersville University and received his B.S. After Joel received his B.S. he then became the Video Coordinator at the University of Memphis. He has since left that position and now is the Head Football Video Coordinator for the Hoosiers of Indiana University in Bloomington Indiana.
