North Penn High School, 2008 Chris is honored to be inducted into The North Penn Athletic Hall of Fame. His North Penn High School Athletic career began as a 9th grader playing in the number 1 Varsity singles spot. The Highlight of Chris’s career was winning the Pennsylvania Singles Championships in 2007 as a junior and in 2008 as a senior and receiving High School All-American Honors as a result of the PIAA State Singles Championships. The year prior as a sophomore, he finished 3rd in the State. He was a 4-time Varsity letter winner and never dropped a match on the home courts at North Penn. He won the SOL National Conference 3 times and was selected by the Philadelphia Inquirer and as the Boys Tennis Athlete of the year. He finished his career with a record of 99-11 wins. He credits his success by having great mentors and coaching leaders like Toby Watton and very supportive parents, Jean and Greg Hasyn as well as two very supportive sisters in Katie and Sara. After High School, Chris attended Division 1 Big Ten Conference School, Pennsylvania State University where he was a 4-year Letter Winner and Captain of the Team in 2011-2012.
