North Penn's defense again able to shut down Pennsburys O and got the ball back into the hands of there offense where Adam Hearns threw a beautiful strike right down the middle of the field to a wide open Deanco Oliver and the Knights jumped out to an early 14-0 lead. Pennsbury was able to drive the ball down the field on the Knights and take it in for the score, but thanks to a powerful block by Jim Casertano the Knights stayed up 14-6. The kickoff that followed lead to Pennsbury gaining a lot of momentum when Kevin Akins fumbled and turned the ball over to the Pennsbury O where they were able to put it in again on a very short drive and cut the lead to 14-12, missed the two point conversion. The Knights came out trying to shut the Pennsbury team down but was unable when Akins fumbled turning the ball over again. Pennsbury was unable to take the ball very far and thanks to an amazing field goal block by Sophomore Brandon Turner, the Knights remained ahead 14-12. The very next drive Akins redeemed himself with a long run down the Pennsbury sideline in for the score putting the Knights up 21-12. Before the end of the half the Falcons were able to put another score on the board putting them down only 2 points, 21-19.
The second half was a whole different story. The Knights came out strong with a long drive taking all the momentum from the Falcons and the Pennsbury crowd completely out of the game. The Knights shattered any chances of the Falcons making an upset on their homecoming game with scores put up by quarterback Adam Hearns, fullback Jim Casertano, and Kevin Akins was able to get into the end zone for another score as well.
