Mike Wilus stopped the next play, and Alex Munio and Kevin Uhll stopped the ball to bring up 3rd and 10. Carroll was forced to punt, with Turner back to receive. He ran it up to his own 34. Stoll broke free to bring up a first down. Meyers passed to Neubert who ran to the 10 before being tackled. On first down, Stoll ran in for a touchdown at 4:31. Extra point by McManus was good. Schmid kicked off again for the Knights, who were able to stop Carroll’s drive and force them to punt in 3 plays. North Penn took over on their own 15, and Turner ran for a first down to end the quarter. The second quarter began with Meyers completing to Phil Schilling for a first down. Meyers ran for another 6 yards before being stopped, but threw and interception on the next play. Carroll took over inside the North Penn 40. Wilus, Mike Katch, Elliot Johnson, and Josh Neubert each had tackles during the Patriots’ next drive. The Knights were able to hold Carroll off and take over inside the 10. Elliot Johnson was forced to punt 4 plays later. With 49 seconds left in the half, Carroll threw a 35 yard pass for a touchdown, and made the extra point. Turner forced a touchback on the kick off, and the first half ended with a score of 14-7 in favor of the Knights. Schmid kicked off to open the second half; Andy Croyle stopped the return. Carroll drove down the field to the North Penn 35. After an incomplete pass, the Patriots ran 35 yards for a touchdown at 8:00. The extra point was good. Turner return the kickoff to his own 25. Stoll carried for 7, but a penalty on the play forced the Knights back, and they were forced to punt (Mike Wilus with the tackle). Carroll took over on their own 30. Carroll quarterback Matt Cantafio ran for a first down but was stopped by Turner, who forced a fumble. North Penn’s Mike Katch recovered on the Knights 36. Meyers handed off to Turner who ran for a first down, and then to Stoll, who ran for another first down. Turner and Stoll each ran on the next drive, but were both stopped short of the first down. With 3 seconds left in the quarter, Stoll ran for a touchdown. McManus made the extra point. North Penn opened the fourth quarter by kicking off to Carroll (Sam Kye with the tackle). The Patriots ran the ball, but Neubert and Ervin pushed them back to about the 20. Twop lays later, Croyle and Kye rushed the quarterback and sacked him. Carroll was forced to punt on 4th and long. North Penn took over on Carroll’s 32 yard line. Turner carried for a first down, then Stoll, then Turner again for first and goal. Stoll was stopped at the 7 on the next play, but Turner then ran it in for a touchdown at 7:46. McManus’ extra point was good. Schmid kicked off, Wilus and Kye stopped the return. Wilus stopped the next play. On the next snap, the ball got away from the quarterback, and the fumble was recovered by North Penn on the 19. Turner carried for another touchdown at 6:53. McManus made his 5th extra point. Schmid kicked off to Carroll, who was stopped by Elliot Johnson and Zach Cordora. Carroll quarterback Cantafio threw two incomplete passes and was forced to punt. Tom Byers went in for North Penn at quarterback and handed off to Pual Leslie, who ran over 60 yards for a touchdown at 3:35. Mcmanus missed the extra point. Carroll scored on their next drive at 2:14, but the damage had already been done. North Penn ended the game with possession and a score of 41-21.
