On Saturday night, the Knights took on the Neshaminy Redskins in what appeared to be the game of the year. The Knights got behind early 10-0 in the first quarter, but a determined Knights offense punched in a touchdown and after a successful extra point the score was 10-7 at the half.

When the Knights came out of the locker room they were all fired up. It showed in the opening drive when North Penn drove the ball down the field and scored on their first possession making the score 14-10. But by the fourth quarter it seemed as if the Knights were exhausted and it showed when a screen pass went for a 48-yard touchdown.

The key to Neshaminy's victory was through their special teams who blocked a punt and a field goal that would have put the Knights up by 7 instead of 4. This was unarguably the toughest loss of the season, and what the Knights need to do is use this as fuel. They need to use this loss as incentive to get to the playoffs where they can even the score.

The final score was 24 - 14 in favor of Neshaminy.

PRE-GAME WRITE-UP

On Saturday night your North Penn Knights will be taking on the current state champs, the Neshaminy Redskins. The Knights will have to come out fired up and ready to go, in what may be the biggest game of the season. The Redskins, who are currently 5-1, stand alone atop the patriot division standings. North Penn is currently 11-7 lifetime against Neshaminy, but is 2-3 against them in the last 5 meetings.

Coach Beck hopes to break the 2 game losing streak and get the Knights one step closer to the playoffs. This game is going to be a crucial one for North Penn, because if they win they can knock Neshaminy out of the playoff hunt.

This is going to be a game to remember and it will be close because these teams are so evenly matched. The team that wins is the team that wants it more and right now the Knights are foaming at the mouth.
